This delightful vacation rental is nestled on Motu Temae, a former islet now connected to the main island on Moorea’s northeast coast.
Motu Temae is a unique place, almost suspended in time, cherished for its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.
Facing the sea, the narrow lagoon reveals breathtaking turquoise shades and, during whale season (August to October), even offers the rare opportunity to spot whales right from the beach.
Between lagoon and ocean, the motu invites relaxation and wonder: several natural coral-sand pools offer serene spots for swimming or snorkeling, in an intimate and preserved environment.

Located within a private, gated residence secured by an electric gate, the cottage is accessible from the road that runs along the 18-hole golf course.

Entirely crafted from wood and featuring a beautiful exposed roof structure, this warm and inviting holiday home offers generous open-air living spaces, creating a full immersion into the islands’ authentic lifestyle.

The house, designed in a Balinese style, features open and airy spaces. It may not suit those who prefer modern, fully enclosed interiors. The kitchen is located in a separate module on the pool deck and is accessible only from the outside.
The windows open using a system of pulleys and ropes, allowing the panels to be raised in the traditional Polynesian way.

The living room, bathed in natural light, offers a large lounging area with comfortable sofas, a smart TV, and a friendly bar corner.
An outdoor dining table, sheltered and accessible from the living room, is set on the wooden deck—perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings while staying in the shade.

The house features two air-conditioned bedrooms on the ground floor, each equipped with a double bed.
Upstairs, a spacious mezzanine offers four double beds and ceiling fans, making it ideal for hosting family and friends.

The sandy garden, framed by the motu’s lush vegetation, features a magnificent sculpture by Teva Victor, an artistic nod to the Polynesian spirit of the place.
A fare potee (traditional Polynesian shelter) includes a picnic table and lounge area for relaxed outdoor moments.
You will also find children’s games on the property, including a small playhouse and a slide.

A rental car is essential during your stay, as public transportation is not available in this part of the island.
We can assist with arranging your vehicle if needed.
